Ahh, Venus! Nevermind what the subject is, you continuously appear so grumpy and irritable! Why is this? No matter, why don't you brighten up, for a change?
Haha, the drawing shown above here is in reality, a bit pointless, and I had never truly expected to be Submitting it now. You see, recently I've been working on a larger, Traditionally-Done project as a secret or surprise, inspired by a new song that I had recently discovered. I can tell you that I am in fact proud of the current results of the piece, but its' creation has been very tedious, and that is were this sketchy picture comes in- Challenging it was, I wished to take a break from the progress, and begin a bit of a doodle, where I could merely sketch rather than go through the entire process of outlining and such, and I didn't desire to work on Realism at the moment. Instead, I chose upon drawing Venus in a Semi-Realism fashion, in which the style would be similar to regular style, but with Realistic components. And here you have it!
During its' creation, I thought of the song "On My Own" by Hedley, and figured that in a way, it was most fitting to Venus. Because of this, I based the work off of that song in particular. ^.^
This was very fun to create and I am extremely proud of the final result, and I sure hope you enjoy, too! ^.^
